Ruperto Vanderpool starred as “Weezer” in the major motion picture "The Cookout" produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Films and Lions Gate Films released September 2004.  Ruperto Vanderpool's television appearances consist of CBS’ Urban Latino, BET's Comic View, Sitv's Latino Laugh Festival Show and as a special featured guest on It's Showtime at the Apollo.

Ruperto Vanderpool, a natural born comedian who is best known for his pantomiming humor and his endless variety of facial expressions.  Born and raised to Dominican parents in New York City the Bronx, Ruperto Vanderpool was exposed to a diverse array of cultures that have provided him with many experiences, which today he incorporates into his stand up routine.  "Funny things always happened in my house being that there were 8 of us."  It's no surprise that Ruperto Vanderpool brings an extremely high level of energy, personality, and style to the comedy stage that is hard to find today.

Ruperto Vanderpool has the best of both worlds fluent in English and Spanish he is taking the world by storm with his Afro-Latino Comedy style.

With a good spirit and a genuine heart, on May 2004, Ruperto Vanderpool donated his time to perform for our Troops during NYC's FLEET WEEK.

Ruperto Vanderpool also made his debut as a writer for the online animated series, La Familia which can be seen on the new website iCaramba.com.  He is a favorite at Colleges, Universities, Military Bases and Comedy Clubs nationwide.
