Comedians! Catch A Rising Star has
formed a partnership with the
National Association of Comedians.
It is a unique organization that provides support
for working comedians. It's often difficult for a
touring comedian to find adequate Health Insurance
and other necessary services most
Human Resources Departments provide.
The NAC has leveraged the power of numbers
so that individual comedians will have access
to group discounts including health insurance.
As a member, you are part of a recognized
national professional association. Using the
National Association of Comedians, LLC logo on
your business cards, marketing materials and
web site will give you credibility and give your
career a boost.   You will gain knowledge through
educational seminars and communication
with other NAC members with our members only
message system.
Comedian Member Dues:  $19.99 per year.

Mike Gaffney at Catch Princeton

Mike grew up in a tough New Jersey neighborhood where he quickly learned he needed to get tough or get funny…Hes not that tough but Mike Gaffney is very funny. Mike’s style of comedy is very conversational discussing day to day life not only as a single dad but as a friend, son , uncle and all around good guy. Wherever Mike performs whether it be in a New York City comedy club or a town fundraiser Mike wins audience’s love and respect with his personal take on life a
nd fatherhood. People all over find Mike very relate-able and likable. His high energy and quick wit keep audiences engaged and entertained the entire time.

“There are two things I love to do.. One is make people laugh, especially people I love and the other is to help people figure things out inside themselves.”  Mike is not only a single father with full custody of his teenage son and daughter he is a recovering addict with almost two decades of recovery and experience. “Its almost like I have two different stage acts. There’s the regular comedy scene where I do all my day to day life stuff then there’s the recovery material that I do mainly for the recovery community. I very rarely talk about recovery in mainstream clubs..which is the way I am in life .. I LIVE recovery I don’t necessarily have to talk about it.”

Mike took to the stage at 32 which is a little older than most. He spent a few years grinding it out before taking a break like many comics do.. In 2009 Mike decided that his love for comedy was too strong so he hit the stage full speed ahead and hasn’t slowed down. Mike works regularly at most clubs in NYC as well as comedy clubs up and down the east coast. You can also hear Mike on his weekly podcast “The Mike Gaffney Show”
